Rambling Thoughts

Those drafts, those unfinished thoughts, are like ghosts haunting the periphery of my existence. Each one, a snapshot of a moment in time where I struggled to find the words, to share the raw essence of life as it unfolded before me.

Moving to New York in 2008, a city that is both brutal and beautiful, was a leap into the unknown. It was a place where dreams could be made or shattered. But this blog, this small corner of the internet, was my sanctuary. It was where I found solace, where I bared my soul, and where I connected with others who shared the same journey, passions and much more.

As the years passed, the landscape of the internet transformed, giving rise to new platforms and ways of communicating. The sense of community that once bloomed in the digital realm seemed to wane, replaced by superficial interactions and fleeting connections.

The imposter syndrome clawed at my psyche, making me doubt my place in this ever-changing world. But in the end, it was my love for this city, for the experiences it offered, and for the connections I had forged that drew me back to my roots.

Now, as I sit once again in the heart of New York City, the familiar sights and sounds flooding my senses, I can't help but feel a sense of nostalgia for those early years. The world may have changed, but the yearning for connection, for understanding, remains as strong as ever.

I find myself returning to this blog, to this sacred space, with a renewed sense of purpose. I want to reconnect, to share my thoughts and experiences, and to rediscover the power of vulnerability that once made the internet feel like a safe haven.

I want to share the fragments of my soul because I know that the essence of what made this community special still exists. The connection, the vulnerability, the raw honesty - these are the things that brought us together, and they are the things that will keep us connected, no matter how much the world around us may change.
