I always find it difficult to walk out of my apartment in a skirt in the middle of winter (especially after the snow has fallen), but this asymmetrical skirt gives me the best of both worlds.  I shifted it so the long end fell to my side, as opposed to how it normally falls, to give myself the perfect balance of warm and cold.  Then tucked under a few essentials with my accessories in tow, I found myself less constricted from the usual layers as I walked over to grab my morning latte.
