Black and White

Currently. These pants and this color palette.  Somewhere along the way I started making room for silhouettes formed by pants of the wide-legged variety, and once I started, there was really no turning back. Tunnel vision of sorts whenever I arrive at any retail establishment. You can always count on me to sniff out a pair of pants like this, and most of the time they'll be in, you guessed it, black. More recently, this pair with its intriguing details found me and haven't really left my waist. Especially because I'm refusing any injection of color and this is the easiest way out. The intimidatingly wide silhouette is often overlooked, but it's certainly an easy to wear piece, especially when a pair of shiny pointed loafers are involved.  If you're here, you've certainly already been exposed to the masculine footwear situation that I involve myself in.  And speaking of "masculine" am I allowed to even describe clothes that way anymore?  Is that considered PC?  I digress.

First day of fashion week is *officially* today, but I'm doing a big special project that consumed eighty percent of my life in the best way possible, and I can't wait to share recaps from the week as you may experience some frequent radio silence.  For now, enjoy the week, and catch you soon!
