I wish I could say that pants of the leather variety have long been tucked away, but I'd be lying.  Seesawing between seasons, mother nature can't seem to make up her mind and I'm left here wearing (leather) sweatpants day in and day out - a clear indication that I've given up really. Anyway, let's talk checks.  Specifically this jacket.  I fell in love with it ever since I first laid eyes on it a few days ago.   Transitional, trans-seasonal jacket at its best -- lightweight, simple pattern, and a full on color illusion.  Is grey? black? blue?  Makes things exciting to say the least.  I know, sad how something this simple can get me so amped these days.  The little things.  I'm most impressed however by its ability to make leather trousers sweatpants all the more dressed up, or maybe I've just grown used to sweatpants as the new more-formal wear.
