I stopped by the JOE FRESH store in Flatiron earlier this week to peruse the new spring collection and style a few looks.  This laid back pairing of a loose tee and crisp white a-line was by far one of my favorites and sums up my style altogether.   The flared hemline is a welcomed addition to my wardrobe and the ideal piece to build multiple spring looks around.  Now all I really need is a tan so my legs can make a public appearance at some point. I remember my very first encounter with the brand.  It happened years ago when I stumbled upon one of their stores during a commute from my day job.  That's one thing I miss about working in Midtown -- impulse shopping! The trend-conscious brand caught my attention with their unique basics and fit.  This time around, I not only stocked up on my some great basics, but also partnered with the brand for their latest initiative: the #FreshSelfieContest.  

My selfie game isn't necessarily on point -- I wish I could show you outtakes without feeling embarrassed --  in fact, I'm pretty awful but if there's a mirror, I'm not as intimidated.  I digress.  The contest with Joe Fresh encourages shoppers to snap a selfie at one of their stores in one of their mirror decals then post the image to Instagram using the hashtag #FreshSelfieContest between now and April 1st, 2015 for a chance to win $1000 shopping spree.  You can read more about the contest details here, but the directions are pretty straightforward.

Regardless if you take part, I'd definitely recommend checking out their spring collection to give your wardrobe a quick refresh!
