Being that I’ve never been one to embrace the ‘I’m-Asian-with-green-eyes (contacts)-and-long-eyelashes look’ (even though that was the biggest craze once upon a time), it should come to no surprise that I’m not a fan of fake lashes.   Most importantly, I think that myself + fake lashes only works with a ridiculous costume on Halloween, and the last time I sported a pair of falsies was in a bumble bee outfit freshman year in college.

So to feed my fix for wide-eyed lashes while skipping the fakes and extensions, I have my eyes set on this new wand by Benefit.  Benefit’s They’re Real! mascara is a marriage of Givenchy and Dior in the mascara world, creating long lashes with just a few coats.  This mascara will capture lashes that you never knew even existed and not only does it come in an easy to spot pewter-toned container, but the mascara is a no-mess job when it comes to removing!
