It's officially winter here and I've pulled out all the (faux) furs, down jackets, thick socks, and ear muffs I could find in my closet.  Layers are essential (in every city, really), but when I popped into the changing rooms during a shopping trip this afternoon, I was quickly reminded of all the reasons why I love shopping ONLINE.  Most of my friends know that I'm a homebody this time of year but I've made a greater effort the last few months regardless of the weather.  So before I'm out and about venturing the frigid cold, I love layering basics with my shirts and knits that will keep me warm and look pulled together, while definitely avoiding this look.
