I've been hoarding spring and summer pieces the same way squirrels do acorns for winter. New York really loves to tease us, giving us a taste of spring (then never actually following through). I guess you can say it's part of the adventures of living in this city. Cold to hot in just a matter of hours. I clearly was on the latter end on the temperature spectrum when I slipped on this lace top that I usually reserve for warmer months, and surprisingly stayed that way with this leather jacket on. There are just some staples that never disappoint regardless the climate. Even though my style has evolved in the past year or so, there are certain combinations that I never let go of -- like leather and lace. And this outfit really takes the cake in terms of comfort... soft leather, sweet lace, and wide, hide-my-thighs pants. Done and done.
