THE GOH TO

melt

There's nothing more exhilarating than watching the snow melt away -- sure, the streets are filthy beneath the ice (if you live here, you know what I mean!) and the temperatures haven't reached California level quite yet, but it's really just the best knowing that warmer days are fast-approaching.  I'm in so much of a better place now that I've moved apartments and things in the new place are coming together.  I felt the immediate shift in my mood the second all (but one) of the boxes were unpacked.  I moved a whole three blocks up from my old place, but the neighborhood has shifted entirely.  There's more commercial establishments in this area and I'm just around the corner from the subway, which will hopefully help me break my expensive habit of taking cabs EVERYWHERE.  The park across the street is the cherry on top of this move.  I've shot here before, but now that I live across the street, it'll be kind of my go-to location.  Just like this outfit has served as a go-to for me in the latter days of winter. I picked up this light trench before NYFW and layered it over many combinations throughout that week, but I've completely ditched said layers and  now just sport it slinking over the usual leather pant combination.  I'm into the oversized fit, that works well with just about any winter or spring combination.  Can't wait to pair this with a leather miniskirt, t-shirt, and probably these wedge loafers.
