My Paris Guide, 2012
I'm not sure that these small panoramic photos convey the level of beauty in everything I saw. Like many first-timers in Paris, I was captivated by every corner of the city. I can see why there is this ongoing fascination with the city - it's a scene out of a storybook and its beauty is unforgettable. The architecture, language, and food fills you with love, and when it's all over, you wish you could take a piece back with you.
Until next time... here are a just few of my favorite things to do in the city, and a few to keep bookmarked:
- Little vintage shops and small boutiques scattered throughout Montmarte - An early evening picnic along the Seine - Listening to live jazz music on nearly every corner, but for a more formal setting Duc de Lombards - Unforgettable crêpe at Breizh Café - Worth-the-wait dining at Le Comptoir du Relais Saint-Germain - Parisian shops along Rue de Vielle Temple - Picking up baguettes at nearly any Boulangerie, eating, walking, and getting lost (for a little) - People watching while sipping on whiskey at Cafe Society - Grabbing a gyro (if you dare) or street pizza around Saint-Germain and eating on a bridge between the Notre Dame - Quiet walks in the early evening around the Opera houses - Personal toasters for foie gras toast at Au Petit Sud Quest - It's a given that can't leave without shopping around Champs-Élysées
