Pho Wings
A quick and simple last-minute recipe for Super Bowl Sunday. I'm currently making my way back to the states after a week in DR and will get there just in time for it. Even though I don't watch sports on a regular basis, I thoroughly enjoy the hype behind Super Bowl -- especially the half-time show and commercials. I've wanted to blog these sriracha wings for sometime now. Christian made them when we were visiting California over summer and they're the most delicious wings I've eaten. His recipe is a mix of sweet and spicy, a perfect flavor to go with that oven-baked crunch.

Pho Wings Makes one dozen
1 dozen Chicken wings
1/4 cup Sriracha (for spicier, add more as desired)
1/2 cup Hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon cilantro, finely chopped
Preheat oven to 350.
Prepare chicken wings. Rinse wings with cold water, pat dry with paper towels, then let air dry for an additional 5 minutes. Place wings on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and a few pinches of salt. Bake for 30 minutes, or until outside of wings crunchy.
Remove wings from oven and place in a large bowl, then toss with sriracha and hoisin sauce until evenly coated. Add cilantro and give one last toss. Serve with a light beer!
