I’ve long convinced myself that I’m not that ladylike — I grew up a tomboy, went through an all-pink phase in college, and landed somewhere between the two after my corporate job.  I’ll always gravitate towards structural menswear but fall completely in love with something whimsical.  It’s not a struggle anymore knowing that I can always strap on a pair of stilettos with some tailored trousers, or in this case, sneakers with a beautiful ruffled pink dress.

Layers of pink fabric paired with some sneakers for a day in Paris.  May not be entirely ideal but definitely striking the balance to help me reach my comfort level, especially when I know lunch is involved.

Even though I'm not a stranger to the backdrop, it's rare for my to have time to shoot while I'm in Paris so I'm beyond thrilled to get to share these photos with you.  It's been a bit of a hectic past few weeks with, so it's moments like this that I love looking back on.  Summer. Paris. Memories.
