THE GOH TO

This was the first time I escaped New York since the end of January so I was in complete relaxation mode the moment I boarded the plane for Puerto Rico.  I'm always plugged in, especially living in New York -- and actually love the energy of always being "on" -- so it's good when I can leave everything behind and tune out all the noise. There's also really nothing better than having a travel companion who shares your overall vibe and idea of what an agenda should look like, so I couldn't be more excited when I got to travel with one of my best friends (Justin).  We sipped piña colada with every meal, laughed our faces off at just about everything, lounged on our balcony as we sipped on a homemade cocktails, listened to his multitude of playlists, and just enjoyed each moment.  One of my favorite adventures was the long hike we took through the El Yunque National Forest.  The lush, dense forest was the ultimate escape from the concrete jungle was something I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to experience, especially after taking a quick dive at the bottom of the falls.

Here are just a few snapshots captured on my lens.
