Drove up the hills overlooking the city to watch the sunset over San Jose this past weekend and those brief moments made me miss California more than any.  Golden hour, endless horizon, quiet surroundings, and the convenience of having countless scenic options in a two mile radius is something that I'll always crave.  At least I get to have a small dose of that every time I make a return to the West Coast. It also goes without saying that the holiday season is particularly hectic. I have a packed travel schedule ahead along with  a number of day-to-day things to manage around the house (Luna).  So when it comes to outfits, I like to keep things really simple and tend to gravitate toward pieces that require very little effort.  I picked up this poncho over the weekend in California and love that it adds character to my basics in little to no time at all.
