weekly bits

We got back from L.A. last Sunday, and I can honestly say that there are few things that I love more than going back home.  Granted, my family is scattered across the globe, but I still love going back to the house I grew up in, seeing my best friends, visiting some of my favorite spots, and simply reconnecting.  There are sometimes moment where I wonder what my life would have been like if I stayed on the west coast, but then that thought vanishes as quickly as it surfaced, and I realize I already live in one of the greatest city in the world - New York.

Here are a few bits from the past two weeks through my lens....

+BLOVIN’+

Playing dress up with my friend Casey in LA, and now wishing I brought this home with me.

A spool of the prettiest shades at my favorite antique store The Upper Rust

Ideally, the best way to spend a summer evening with friends - one loaf of bread,  homemade bruschetta on a large wooden slab, and a bottle of wine.  Simple rooftop entertaining.

Finishing the film in this vintage Leica camera (so I can quickly return it to my mom before she notices)

A new addition to the kimono closet from this new RTW collection
