5 FAVORITE // French Beauty Products
My infatuation for French beauty products started not too long ago. I was about to take my first trip to Paris almost four years ago when my travel research somehow landed me in a shopping cart on Amazon filled Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré and micelle solutions. Of the sea of products that occupy my vanity, these five products are what I constantly reorder and use no matter what my monthly beauty buys might be. NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil. I have a number of facial oils, but this is by far is my favorite one. Introduced to me by my friend Christina, this oil is delicately scented with jasmine and leaves my skin feeling moisturized as opposed to oily. It's a great addition to the evening skincare routine when my skin is feeling particularly tired. I also love applying it with my daily makeup to give it a dewy glow.
Caudalie Polyphenol C15 Anti-Wrinkle Eye and Lip Cream. For the more delicate areas of my face, I incorporate this light cream. I try to minimize the use of makeup and instead take preventive measures by incorporating this cream at night.
Bioderma Crealine TS H2O Micelle Solution. I've used this product longest. I developed some awful habits during college -- one being my inability to take off my makeup before going to bed. I've thankfully broken that habit, and this is the one product I swear by for makeup removal. A cotton ball drenched with a splash of micelle solution, makes the makeup removal seamless.
Valmont 'DNA Repair' Serum. I'm still on the fence about anti-aging serums, but on the occasions that I apply it, this is my go-to product. Introduced to me last year, this serum is ideal when my skin needs major repair -- think, long night out or stressful day. I smother my skin with this, add aloe vera eye mask, and a 15 minute nap.
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré. I met a makeup artist at a party a few years ago that told me that this is the only moisturizer I'll ever need, so I tried it and naturally, fell in love. I use this daily and layer it under my night cream. It's such a lightweight product with maximum moisturizing capabilities, and a must try for anyone with normal to dry skin.
Do you know any other products I should try? Would love to know!
