My Skincare Rituals

I’m always hyper-focused on skincare come January. Maybe it’s the fact that I’m coming off a winter holiday of over sun-exposed skin or the fact that I’m getting one year older, but this is the month that I replace makeup with serums and all the additional accoutrements to maintaining the most beautiful skin.

Even though I tend to change up my products every few weeks so my skin can take a breather, the skincare rituals I swear by tend to stay the same:

  1. Listen to the pros.

  2. The daily 8. I believe this can be a blog post on its very own for this one, so I’m going to share just the jist of my eight daily steps: cleanse, correct, essence, serums (face), serums (eyes), moisturize, protect, prime.

  3. Face workouts. Guasha, face rollers, FaceGym, you name it. I love the instant gratification I get when I incorporate these into my routine. The

  4. Treat yourself. Whether it’s microcurrent facials or a regular facial

  5. Face masks. I’m all about a daily masking routine before I start my day. I always keep my face masks in the fridge and throw on on at the start of every morning. It’s the ultimate self-care without breaking the bank.
