a few good things

Lived out every possible Parisian cliché, took the tube halfway to Cockfosters and back to Heathrow, and woke up this morning in the warm embrace of New York.  I'm not sure I can put into words the fulfillment I've had and how grateful I am all the time, but I try nonetheless.  I have loads to share but in the meantime, here are a few good things.
