around we go

Between the busy weekend and the already hectic start to my week, I've neglected my most dreaded task of packing.  The thought of packing for  a month-long, multi-destination trip overwhelms me and I honestly didn't have any idea where to start.  So as I stood there in my closet for what felt like far too long, I decided I'd take a break and just jot down all my thoughts about this upcoming trip, the last two days in New York, and so on.  This eventually helped open up my mind to some outfit inspirations and got me started with the packing.

Here are a few wardrobe staples I think every woman needs to bring along for an extended trip, regardless of the destinations.

 | a leather jacket that will go with almost every ensemble |  

 | boyfriend jeans to dress up or down | 

 | a tailored blazer to add a polished look and in case you have a meeting | 

 | classic sunnies work best | 

 | never can get enough shoes, but if you had to pick, choose a few neutral  colors  and some that can make a basic outfit pop | 

 | a basic black skirt with leather detailing (and not pictured, but a LBD) |
