baroque and bespoke

I love the idea of bringing brocade into my Fall mix, especially in the form of a crew neck.  The opulent fabric of baroque-inspired pieces easily balance some of Fall's key pieces without making the wardrobe feel dated, while the additional gold accents of this sweater is a pleasant departure from the mundane. Haphazardly thrown over a dress I practically wore all summer and my booties during our weekend back to Zach's hometown, as we revisited some of my favorite small town haunts.
