BCBGMAXAZRIA SS 14

Big changes coming and I can't wait to share them with you!  I've been pretty busy covering NYFW this season as well and trying to juggle a few more responsibilities so I apologize for the short BRB moments.

I've been so inspired by some of the looks designers have presented so far.  We're already a few days into NYFW but I thought I'd give you a glimpse from my first stop - BCBGMAXAZRIA on Thursday morning.

Opening up my New York Fashion Week, BCBGMAXAZRIA introduced a contrast of feminine prints and masculine silhouettes, married with a blend of the brand's signature seductive appeal -- think crop tops, sheer fabrics, and v-necks.  The lightweight faux-layered fabrics combined with pops of prints and patterns gave each look the an edgy appeal that BCBGMAXAZRIA achieves season after season.

My favorite look has to be the one below, along with the matching set in picture two.  I love the loose-fit, sheer detailing, and water-color floral prints.  Now I'm just going to have to master that messy windswept hair with dewy skin.  Stay tuned!
