Having a January birthday is always bittersweet.  Though I absolutely love the big dinner plans, dressing up, flowers, and cake... it seems I've had some luck with the weather these last few years.  Between snow storms and rain, this year I'm keeping things simple by inviting a few of my friends out for one of my favorite foods - sushi...and sake of course!  And though I normally find myself reaching for darker ensembles this time of year, I decided to add a bit more zing with a neon coral skirt and my favorite sequined top.
