checkmate

Can't winter be over already so I can start complaining about the heat? Mixing oversized wool with spring's light duster in this combination of layers to keep warm these days.  It's hard to believe that I'm still digging through the winter section of my wardrobe, but at least there's room to incorporate some of my favorite spring pieces.  Hints of fringe and lightweight fabrics actually work seamlessly together with winter staples.  A transitional period of onion-like proportions.  It's weather like this that serves as a catalyst to perpetual layering, and I'm okay with it.
