Cran Clafoutis

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is the use of cranberries.  From cran-turkey sandwiches to cranberry dressing, I can't get enough of it all.  So when I stumbled upon this simple recipe (found here), I tried whipping it up as a little mid-day treat.  I've never heard of clafoutis also known as flaugnarde, but it's a traditional French flan-like dessert which closely resembles a pancake. Perfectly paired with an afternoon coffee on the rooftop, this fluffy treat was just what I needed.
