doubled up

There are only so many hours you can stay cooped up in an air-conditioned apartment in New York before you start feeling a bit claustrophobic, but this weekend staying in and doing absolutely nothing was exactly what we needed.  We had long lie-ins just talking and laughing for hours, ordered takeout, watched a few old movies, and set aside most of our gadgets.  When we finally decided to step out on Sunday for fro-yo session, I layered this sleeveless chambray dress with my favorite light white frock -- sometimes a few light layers in the dead of summer can be surprisingly comfortable.
