easy blueberry açaí bowl

I've mentioned before that my breakfasts get whisked together in just a matter of minutes, and that still pertains when it comes to making something healthy yet delicious.  I started making acai bowls back in college when acai was the only thing I'd ever want to drink (it got so bad that I started ordering cocktails with it), and till this day, it's the only thing I make on a consistent basis.  Here's a quick and easy recipe that will give you that morning boost and is one of my absolute favorites, especially after a morning workout.  Best part about it?  You can try customizing it to your liking with a variety of fruits, berries, granola!

Blueberry Açaí Bowl

Ingredients serves: 2-3

- 1 frozen acai packet,  (find at Whole Foods or Trader Joes) ** if you can't find the frozen packs, just buy a bottle of acai and freeze it in an ice tray. - Frozen organic mixed berries or plain strawberries (you can easily make your own, but store-bought works just as well) - 1 banana, and another for garnish - 1/3 cup Granola - Fresh organic blueberries (or other desired berries to garnish)

Directions In a blender, combine frozen acai, mixed berries, bananas.  Blend until smooth.  Divide mixture into serving bowls, layer bananas into each bowl, then add on granola, and lastly garnish with blueberries.  Serve immediately.
