FWF: Fashion Week Favorites
Between juggling work and catching up on some much needed sleep, I haven't had a substantial amount of time to engage in all the New York Fashion Week hoopla, so I've been relying on my trusty sources to get first hand looks of what creations the designers have come up with. And so far here are some of my favorite looks...
Wes Gordon defines the feminine-chic style with his collection. Combining edgy detailing like exaggerated lace pieces (left), metallic skinny trousers (center), and super-V necks (right), he has given the simple girly-girl an injection of flare. In addition to his figure flattering pieces, he has collaborated with the timeless feminine Italian shoe brand we all know as Manolo Blahnik. His creations include a pair of coveted sparkly mary janes and some stacked heel sandals - it's a match made in shoe heaven, really.

Now on to Jenni Kayne. Need I say more? The too cool two-toned look makes me wish it were spring already. With high slit, whimsical dresses (L and R) and palazzo pants (C) her collection boasts just the right amount of personality by combining some sensational monochromatic layers (and let's not forget the accessories - strappy sandals, arm candy, blue shades...officially TOO cool).
