good eats

My day-to-day eating and cooking habits back at home are usually kept rather simple, and I try my best not to eat out too much despite the fact of living in New York.  I'm extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to travel throughout the UK and France these past two weeks and eaten some of the most amazing foods.  I've eaten out almost everyday and I'm so excited to bring my food inspirations back to my kitchen.   Here are just a few...

a rich olive oil drizzled over creamy avocado at Barrafina to start a meal

warm and buttery croissants found at nearly all the Boulangeries as an indulgent midday snack

fully loaded crêpes from Breizh Café to incorporate into a weekend brunch

oversized macarons to satisfy that sweet tooth

garlic sauce (on the escargots) at Le Comptoir de Relais to enhance any dish

truffles, chocolate covered almonds, chocolate covered caramel to snack throughout the day
