Grey Day
There are few shopping experiences more rewarding than stumbling across a store with everything you’ve been looking for at the moment. I’ve always been more of an online perusing shopper, the inability to find what I want when I want often gives me overwhelming anxiety, but the boutiques in New York City tend to take all the stress away. From in-store design to product curation, brands are becoming more and more conscious about creating an experience for our generation. Here enter Lou & Grey. Opening their first New York City store on Fifth Avenue in Flat Iron, the brand has created an experience for those seeking a “comfortably confident” life.
Raises hand.
Upon entering, I quickly gravitated toward the cozy knits and velvet separates, not paying much attention to the interior design at first, but once I finally looked up from the racks of clothes and rummaged through the main floor, I encountered my dream fitting room. Blush tones on blush tones. Basically what triggered me to look up and discover more.
From their cement exterior design and modern details, to their seasonal curation and the ultimate basics, the store boasts of everything you need and want (to share).
