50 states of fashion | H&M goes online

The day has finally arrived!  Today, H&M makes the leap to e-commerce stateside and simplifies life as we know it.  Love when my favorite brick and mortar shopping destinations go online, especially since my online browsing far exceeds my in-store cavorting.  So as H&M embarks on the new stateside e-commerce site, they've appointed me as the ambassador to represent my home state of California!

So what does this all mean?   For one, the new e-commerce site means I'll no longer have to roll my eyes at our European counterparts (and people far more patient to wait in line) for getting first dibs on new collections.

Second, and most importantly, as an ambassador I'm responsible for giving you the low-down on how to win the grand prize of a trip for two to New York City for New York Fashion Week and a shopping spree of $1000 to H&M.

 Here's what you have to do:

1.  Upload a photo onto your Instagram wearing your favorite H&M look using the hashtag #HMShopOnlineXX -- XX stands for the abbreviation of the state you're from, i.e. #HMShopOnlineCA would be the hashtag for California.

Contest ends August 21, 2013 at 7PM EST.  You must be a U.S. resident and 21 years of age or older to participate.  Other rules here.
