Hoppr Holiday

Tucked in the heart of the East Village, two stories above street level, you’ll usually find me and a group of my friends with drinks in hand, casually hanging out to hip-hop and a plethora of small bites. The holidays are no exception. Small noshes included, the drinks continue to flow with ease as the evenings are set to a more festive motif with a touch of holiday cheer. The tree aglow and the lights turned down, this year’s festive holiday hosting was inspired by the new mobile platform, Hoppr by Absolut.

The site is ideal when it comes to transforming those laid-back New York City nights to something a little bit more. The concept is actually pretty fun especially since I'm fairly intrigued with dating apps and sites (I'm absolutely intrigued by my friends' dating stories).  The Hoppr platform is basically the same concept, except it's meant for parties.  Whether you're looking for a party nearby or in the mood to add a few more guests to the list, the RSVP is just a click away, so if you're just as intrigued, be sure to check it out for yourself.

Along with my usual group, we opened up the doors and spread the holiday joy. From the early evening prep to the early morning hours, we drank, sang, danced, and laughed through the night. With candy cane rimmed Absolut cocktails and festive sweets to a nightcap with olives and cheese, the party was nothing short of fun.
