layered in leather

We're less than two weeks into fall and I'm already pulling out leather pants, cashmere combinations, and red wine lips.  Wonder what winter's going to look like?  Me too.  I love getting a head start on anything seasonal though, even though I know it's the limited time frame perpetuates this impulsive behavior ... like, candy corn in August or Peeps at the end of February, and in this case, wearing leather in the first few weeks of September.

Sure, my love for leather has grown exponentially since my move to the east coast, and definitely extended itself into other seasons, but you can't blame me for loving it so much, can you?   These pants, that I practically lived in during the winter of 2012-2013, are definitely an investment piece, but you're bound to find the budget version somewhere else.  And if you do find said budget leather pieces, store them like a squirrel does its acorns and come the perfect temperature, you can layer them over just about anything.
