me and my two-piece

Sure, exploring white sand beaches in two-piece bathing suits on a daily has its perks, but the departure from beachwear has been surprisingly refreshing.  I returned to Hong Kong with a fresh tan (which by the way has already faded) and a new outlook on two-piece sets. I'm not usually fearful of taking risks especially when it comes to fashion, that's why I think my taste is always evolving, but I've always found matching sets intimidating.  Not sure exactly what it is that brings about those conscious fears but regardless, this one seems to be different.  This set came to me just as I was walking out of a showroom in LA, and I think it was fate that I had to have it.  I brought it with me to Hong Kong and ever since, it's been part of the ever-rotating staples in my suitcase wardrobe.  Broke it up with an oversized cocoon coat and these black patent moon boots.  It's the perfect outfit situation before I return to the polar vortex tomorrow.
