Must Reed

Loving this latest edit of Reed Krakoff's classics, especially since it gives way to a new price point.  This past week, I took part in celebrating the launch of the designer's collaboration with Kohl's by spending the day exploring the city and introducing my new pieces to a few of my favorite NYC haunts.  Paired these gingham pants with some of my personal staples -- blocked heels and boyfriend bombers -- with my favorite bag from the collection, the 'Atlantique'. We started off the morning at Grand Central where commuters and passerby circled around to get their first look at the floor-to-ceiling installation of Reed handbags.  Then, just as the crowd began to clear, we hopped into a cab and made our way downtown -- spreading our day between art galleries in Chelsea, cavorting through cobblestone streets in the Meatpacking, before transporting ourselves further south to the various vignettes in and around SoHo, and then, closing out the night with a dinner at the Kohl's showroom.

This latest collaboration leaves no room for disappointment, especially with the accessories component at its strongest.  With increased accessibility and maximum wearability, the designer's latest collaboration highlights modern style, marrying itself to a sense of casual that can be perfected by just about any woman.  No reinventing needed for this genius behind the world of handbags.  The designer instead builds a sense of excitement, clicked the refresh button, and gave us exactly what we've been looking for -- luxury at the right price.
