on getting dressed

Lately, I feel like I've been spending a lot of time in my apartment -- working from home, eating in, blogging, etc. etc. etc.-- and though it's easy for me to just slip into loungewear in the morning and go about my day, I prefer to feel put together while staying comfortable; and not to mention the possibility of drop-bys made by my spontaneous friends, or lunch meetings in my neighborhood. So this is a rendition of what I wear on most days while at home - a pair of heels (yes, I love wearing heels in my apartment), loosely-fitted trousers and a leather jacket thrown over for when I make the occasional quick errand run, which can easily be swapped for a more tailored blazer. And as for makeup, well, that swipe of bronzer, dab of concealer and nude lip come standard.
