routine

I'll have to admit that this variation has been worn at least five to ten times  since the temperature dropped drastically over the course of the past two weeks.  Though these photos don't capture my true state, that is, clenching to both lapels with hands tucked to the depth of my pocket, this casual one-hand pocket tuck is  more aesthetically pleasing anyway. My current choice of oversized silhouettes in the form of coats such as this one, work best paired with more streamlined accessories like boxy bags and pointed boots.  It's my way of keeping myself from looking too disheveled at times.  I think it's important to have a routine that keeps things feeling put together.  During these next few months, mine includes lots of leather.  I'm really loving the fact that more luxe pieces are coming back into rotation.  Leather is truly the best remedy for cold weather outfitting...
