Orchard Road - the best shopping in Asia that I've experienced so far

custom bags thanks to FSO2012 x topshop

nasi goreng - a traditional Singaporian dish, basically special fried rice

they say the view from the Marina Bay Sands is beautiful, but the view below isn't bad either

pop-up Miss Selfridge candy stores where I got my sweet fix during the FSO event

lush trees that shade nearly every road

(extra spicy) mee pok - a type of Singaporian noodles

My weekend getaway came and went as I tried my best to savor every minute of the trip. It's always good seeing familiar faces especially when traveling abroad - from my friend Nikki who shares the same passion for shopping and fashion, to my cousin David who knew every local (nightlife) spot - it was great experiencing the city through the eyes of a "local".
