skirting the issue

There's no escaping leather during warmer months.  But then again, why would you want to?  I'll admit, it took me a very long time to find leather pieces that I actually a) could afford; and b) felt comfortable in. The lifelong hunt of leather pieces is all worth it when you find the right ones though.  Whether it's a leather mesh tank or bralette for the summer, a light leather jacket or skirt for the autumn and spring months, and of course leather pants for winter, leather is the multi-seasonal material.

Now that mother nature has finally given me a reason to expose my paler complexion, it's only natural that skirts get worked into my wardrobe equation.  This one, a fully functional skirt of the leather variety with its matte material, makes getting dressed  so uncomplicated right now.  Exactly what I need when my mind is cluttered with things that seem far too...complicated. photos by Matt
