the right equipment

It's quite apparent that I've been impatiently waiting for spring to arrive, especially since my wardrobe seems to have already transitioned over.  With bright shades filling every inch of my closet, it also seems that I've taken my obsession with button-front blouses to a whole new level.  Below, you'll find two different outfits using one of Equipment's signature blouses.  The versatile button-up can effortlessly transition from one season to the next by adding just a few key elements, and can also be easily dressed up or down.

Top: Tone down the bright blouse by pairing it with some darker textures like this [Isabel Marant 'eva'] knit  and a leather jacket, then add a pop of pattern to give the overall outfit some dimension.  While final touches to the outfit include pieces like  a two-toned cuff, a statement pendant, and these ankle boots.

Bottom:  Play up the bright blouse with a white blazer, then inject some contrasting colors and patterns.  Give the body some shape with a hip-hugging skirt, while accentuating the legs with a neutral pair of platforms.  Then, bring the outfit together with a standout piece like this Dannijo mixed pendant necklace, and some understated dainty rings by Catbird.
