the right fit

When it comes to denim, specifically dark denim, I'm always on the hunt for something that hugs my hips and legs without completely suffocating them, especially since my build is fairly athletic.  So what happens when I find a pair that fits just right?   I never take them off. Unless I shower.

These pair that I ordered online while traveling arrived just in time for fashion week, and I wore them just about every other day.  Though they're not  meant to be the typical boyfriend fit, I believe in sizing up to achieve the fit without giving way to too much room at the waist.  As far as the rest of the outfit goes, I have a weakness for collar-separates, so naturally I gravitated toward this one via Carven.  A somewhat refreshing departure from the poplin collar shirt and layering in general, but since it's hard to go a day without adding a few more layers on, I've been fairly dependent on statement coats and other wintry accessories to get me through.
