think pink

A heat wave in Los Angeles earlier this week caused some confusion in the outfit department.  Technically, it's winter but eighty-five degree definitely scream shorts weather, right?  I'm still in the habit of keeping all things wintry -- especially since New York just rolled out that polar vortex -- so a turtleneck seemed appropriate, but then again so did baring my wintry white legs. Either way, this combination of a quilted skirt, ankle boots, and my recently thrifted powder pink turtleneck seemed relevant at the time.   Not to mention, I'm slightly obsessed with these two separates.  My newfound love for this shade of pink is a pleasant surprise while florals against a contrasting black backdrop the perfect addition to my all-black wardrobe at the moment.
