true blue

Took a moment to play in the snow after last week's flurry hit the city.  The park at the end of my block has an open playground that looked so serene with all the candy colored brownstones and trees in the backdrop, that was until me and my friends invaded it with our cameras and decided on a snowball "fight".  Growing up in Southern California never allowed me to experience snow days like I had seen over the course of the last week.  It's also been awhile since I've spent January in New York, so it was exhilarating when I escaped adulthood to do play.  I bundled up in this coat that I've wanted to shoot for some time now.  The shade of blue combined with the textured fur collar is all sorts of perfect, especially since it matched my favorite cadet hat that I picked up at the hat store down my street.
