Last week, I covered the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show backstage at midtown's 69th Regiment Armory to get an up-close look at models on duty. I've been a long-time brand enthusiast -- ever since the early 2000s, at the height of Gisele and Heidi -- so, when Danielle asked me to photograph the event on her behalf, I knew I had to drop everything. Behind the pink floor-to-ceiling drapes sat dozens of Angels, primping and prepping hours before the show.  So if you're wondering what some supermodels look like without hair/makeup, here you go.  Still perfect, I know.  It's just not fair.  The backstage was as just hectic as any fashion week show, but the pink made the mood far more cheerful.

Surreal moments included Adriana Lima inviting me to sit down, before grabbing a quick Insta-video and snapshots, to chat blogs and my iPhone case (she's obsessed); photographing care-free model of the moment, Cara Delevingne; and seeing the full prep process before the show.
