a touch of prep
Still hanging on to summer with midriff baring pieces, but adding that touch of the fall season with signature plaid. Dug this shirt up from the interwebs last week during one of my usual afternoon perusing sessions just as I was sitting there with a pair of leather shorts and my boyfriend's button-down on, reveling a triangle of my midriff. I took it as a sign that my version of Wang SS14 was just not working. So I hit the click, buy, and then a week later it arrived in time for a Sunday brunch in the neighborhood.
Glad that I've allowed this shirt to make up for any sartorial shortcomings in my attempt to replicate a runway look. Also pleased to know that we can bring the conversation back around to long coats of the season.
Especially love this one when I decide to troll around the city with just a skirt on. And the blank palette is great for the uber preppy ensembles I've pulled together lately.
