Denim And Silk

Beyond colors and fabric, clothing is just as much an extension of our personalities as it is an expression of our mood.  The complexity of my daily life often translates into more simplified combinations, and while my outfit choices and social calendar have never been codependent, we’ve most certainly been conditioned to believe they should be.  

For me, the ensembles in my closet can live on me any time of day, anywhere.  The differentiating factor is and always will be my mood.  A slip dress today can look somewhat different tomorrow, but a slip dress to Up & Down is the same slip dress worn to Union Market.  The tediousness of trying to solve the equation of "what should I wear to…” always bores me.  Ultimately, it's that why try, when you don't have to attitude that is the constant to any of my outfitting equation.
