happy holidays

I hope you've all been enjoying the holiday season and making the most out of your time with family and friends. Took a short hiatus to clear my mind over the past week, so I apologize for going dark and not giving any warning.  This time of year alone gets inordinately busy, but I've also been dealing with a personal issue in my life that has left me devastated and pretty disoriented.  I don't usually air all my personal problems in this space, but I'm sure in due time I'll be able to open up a bit more.  Plus, this time of year is about putting out positive energy, refocusing for the new year, and really spreading cheer, so I prefer keeping it that way.

In the meantime, I just want to wish you all a happy holiday season and new year, and thank you always for allowing me to share this part of my life with you.
