inspiration: sequins

Even though New Year's Eve is right around the corner and I have yet to decide what my plans are, you can trust that I'll be adding a little glitz to the mix regardless if it's an all-out celebration or just a quiet gathering at home.  I'll be rethinking New Year's Eve dressing this year with some extra inspiration, but still keeping pieces of the sequined variety at the forefront of my mind. It's inevitable not to release that inner girly girl during this time of year when it's completely acceptable to cover oneself in head-to-toe glitz, but it's all about striking that balance this year. Have a sequin-covered dress? Add a pair of ghana must-go bag printed a.k.a. Celine slip-on sneakers; or perhaps a poplin collared shirt to the mix.  Masculine touches to the most decorative of pieces, that's the way to go.
