In Beige

It took me awhile to embrace the overalls trend, mainly because I couldn't find ones that fit quite right.  Now, on most summer days there are a handful of looks that I'll wear and overalls have swiftly become among those essentials involved especially those of the cropped and linen variety.  This favorite summer combination of linen and crew necks is more tailored to my liking and something you'll find me wearing on a daily basis and usually with alternating footwear. No matter the look I'm always keeping comfort as key.  And I couldn't be more at home than in a pair of lightweight overalls and a fitted crew neck.  It's an option to all the denim I'm frequently wearing, which by the way, I feel like I've exhausted with this past winter.  I'm trying to challenge myself to deviate from wearing anything denim in the next week so I can give my other separates a bit of a chance.  So first up are these linen overalls.

On a separate note, I've been rocking the half bun as a way of cooling myself off.  The thick hair and humidity aren't the best of combinations.  Pinning my mass of hair back half way and sometimes with a barrette is my solution for long hair.
