Summer isn't all about color and brights for me. That's especially true since I stumbled upon this classic black slip dress that quickly became a wardrobe favorite and staple.  Lately I've been living in it, pairing it with Birkenstocks in the day and stepping it up a notch with more feminine footwear in the evening.  Sure, summer-appropriate attire should be all about turning up the brightness, but sometimes straying for the norm can be just as refreshing.  Photos taken by Bonnie
