Looking Ahead: 2017

We drove down to Carmel on the last day of 2016 to watch the sunset over the California coastline.  There are few things I miss more than this view.  With just moments left of 2016it was hard not to look back at the past few years of my life and reflect on all the changes.

With 2015 focused on personal changes — embracing a new relationship, raising a puppy, adjusting to a new schedule, and really learning more about myself and what I wanted — I was wasn't sure what the expect for 2016.  To be honest, I went in with very little intention, I simply knew I needed to continue working hard and hope that after years of sweat and tears that it would finally pay off.  Looking back, 2016 became the year I focused on reshaping my business and adjusting to the changes and growth that came with it.  In fact, it was one of my most challenging years professionally — pushing myself creatively, staying focused, and not setting any limitations on myself.  It was definitely a whirlwind of a year, with every day defining each of the days and months that followed.  I learned that it’s not just about working hard and smart, but about being present and passionate in the moments.  And now that I've arrived in 2017, I continue looking ahead.   I’m so excited to grow my team and really focus on all the daily and monthly resolutions I’ve mapped out for myself.

Most importantly, I’m beyond grateful for all of you, my community, my friends, family.  Each of you keep me motivated, passionate, and inspired, and I’m so happy to have your support.  Thank you.
